9:00 departure from L’Aquila through the section of Tratturo Magno on the ancient route leading to the sea. Turning on the side of the Majella National Park, well known place where dissidents used to hide, visit of the Castle of Roccascalegna one of the most photographed place in Abruzzo because it stands on a rocky outcrop with ravine’s flank,, while in the background stands the majestic Majella "mother mountain". Go back to the coast to join San Vito Chietino.
13:00 lunch on the Trabocco, an ancient fishing machine on the sea transformed into an excellent restaurant, where to live an authentic Abruzzo experience eating daily fresh fish.
15:30 departura for Ortona and visit the impressive Aragonese Castle in a spectacular position overlooking the sea. From the east tower you can enjoy an extraordinary view of the sea that embraces a long part of the Coast of Trabocchi.
19:30 return to the hotel
