1° day

Arrival in Santo Stefano di Sessanio, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, at 1.250mt asl, and free time for lunch in a typical restaurant with local dishes. In the afternoon optional excursion with donkeys in the National Park of Gran Sasso and Laga Mountains to reach the Belvedere delle Locce where you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the mountains and rediscover the power of nature through a slow-tourism activity. Check-in at an ex Abbey, surrounded by an ancient oak wood, which is also an Apennine Floristic Research Center with a beautiful Botanical Garden.

20:00 optional dinner in a unique location coming from the recovery of a cluster of old houses in an ancient village. Overnight stay.

2° day

10:00 arrival at Wolf Visitor Center where you can listen different types of howling and follow the path "From the Prey to the Predators", characterized by a walking trail along which you can observe the ungulates, raptors and wolves in partial freedom. Free time for lunch nearby and visit of the Regional Nature Reserve of the Springs of Pescara, one of the oldest protected areas of Abruzzo consisting of a clear and crystal water of rare beauty originated by plenty of small and large springs.
