9:00 departure from L'Aquila and visit the Abbey of San Clemente in Casauria, a real museum were artistic artifacts are preserved as in a casket in the evocative interior: the ambo, the candlestick, the urn, the altar. Afterwards pay a visit at the Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere, guardian of beauty, located in a scenic position where you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the Trabocchi Coast.

13:00 lunch on the Trabocco, an ancient fishing machine on the sea transformed into an excellent restaurant, where to live an authentic Abruzzo experience eating daily fresh fish. In the afternoon visit to the Sanctuary of the Holy Face in Manopello, pilgrimage destination because it houses a relic that according to the legend is the veil of Veronica exposed in a glass case placed behind the altar.
