1° day

Morning arrival to the archeological site of Amiternum, where in an open and uncontaminated countryside, you can visit a Roman Theatre and Amphitheater from the Augustian age. Free time for lunch in a typical restaurant in the city center.

15:00 guided tour of the city center following an itinerary which goes through all the history of the town from its foundation and combine the official history to its legends and mysteries, constellations and Templar knights, important characters like Frederick II and Celestino V, the famous Pope of the “great refusal”. At the end of the tour you will have a nougat tasting in the most ancient café of the town.

17:30 check-in in a charming B&B located in a historical palace of the city center and designed for a wellness escape from everyday life. The Spa, the attention of the staff and the atmosphere of exclusivity that you breathe in every corner will make you live a dream experience.

19:30 optional exclusive aperitif in a private living room with local products and optional dinner in a characteristic restaurant with arrosticini or other traditional dishes related to the area.

2° day

9:00 “National Park breakfast” in a private room. More than a simple breakfast, it’s considered like a gastronomic tour through sweets, cheese, salami and selected yogurts from local producers.

11:00 visit Stiffe Caves in the Sirente Velino Regional Park. The presence of the watercourse is the most important feature because it creates waterfalls inside and outside the caves!
