COOKING WEEKEND
Program
1° day
Morning arrival in Roccamorice for a trekking to discover the hermitage of San Bartolomeo in Legio, in the Majella National Park. Packed lunch and in the afternoon Truffle Hunting with the expert and his dogs in an area full of truffles to learn how to recognize and find them.
19:00 visit the impressive castle, a 17th century baronial palace now wine resort and its cellars, well-known trademark for regional wine tourism. Dinner in the barrel room with typical local products and a selection of four Masciarelli labels with tasting of Bio Extra Virgin Olive Oil to be combained with traditional dishes. Overnight stay in a wooden cabin with a glass wall in the forest.
2° day
In the morning Cooking Class with a visit to one or more local farms where you can buy raw materials which will be used for the preparation of dishes during the lesson. Back to agriturismo and time to prepare a typical Abruzzo’s menu which will be served for lunch.
